Witnesses gain a clear understanding of the court process and how decision-makers assess credibility. Using real-life examples and video playback, they see what helps and what can get in the way when answering difficult questions.
Each witness experiences multiple forensic cross-examinations. Questions are drawn from personal and meaningful (but non-case-related) scenarios, where there is real personal and emotional investment. This ensures a realistic and challenging cross-examination experience, where witnesses are properly pressure-tested. This helps build awareness of triggers and challenges in real time and the skills needed to give consistently effective evidence.
The session is led by a barrister, with tailored feedback supported by a communications specialist. Reviewing video of their own performance allows witnesses to recognise strengths, pinpoint risks and leave with practical strategies for improvement.
