What people say

Frequently
Asked Questions

How do I decide which level of training is appropriate?

The appropriate level depends on:

  • The importance of the witness to the case
  • The litigation stakes
  • The witness’s experience and confidence

Solicitors often select a mix of training levels across a case to balance depth of preparation with efficiency.

Can Assurety help assess whether a witness should be called?

Yes. Our assessment sessions allow solicitors to observe how a potential witness performs under sustained questioning before final decisions are made on the level of course required and / or whether to rely on them at trial.

Will we receive feedback after the session?

After each session you will receive a written report providing insights into how the witness performed under questioning and highlight areas where further preparation may be beneficial.

This can help solicitors make more informed strategic decisions.

Why do you include psychologists in witness training?

Giving evidence can be an intensely stressful experience.

Performance psychologists help witnesses recognise how they react under pressure and develop techniques to remain calm, focused and confident during questioning.

This psychological insight allows witnesses to strengthen their performance in ways that traditional legal training alone cannot achieve.

How long does a session typically last?

Sessions vary depending on the programme, from 3 hours to bespoke multi-session programmes.
