AssuretyMind
Where the question is the difference

AssuretyMind
AssuretyMind helps senior people in global companies to perform at their best in ‘Moments that Matter’. Whether you are a chairman about to face your annual AGM, are part of a fund pitching for significant investment or stepping into a new role, there are some moments where your performance has a disproportionate impact on your future.
AssuretyMind utilises a world class delivery team to support you in these moments, whether that is a one off event, or a period of months where you simply cant afford to fail.
We combine the skill sets of the very best performance psychologists, who use questioning to bring you new insights, awareness and beliefs, with senior barristers (called Kings Counsels) who use questioning to create pressure. This provides a unique environment where learning is accelerated and prepares you for the high stakes environment you are about to, or already are, facing.
All of our training utilises our bespoke psychological profiling tool. This unique tool enables you and our training team to understand how you may react in moments that matter and how we can support you to be your best in such moments.
We support teams and individuals in three ways:
1. Challenging Questions Course
This course is for when you want to do everything you can to support your Board and senior staff when they are facing the prospect of a public or private grilling and where you know that that the key to a successful outcome is the ability to answer difficult questions in a persuasive and confident manner. By using the skill of the barrister to ask challenging questions on topics you care about, we can recreate the acute pressure you will face. Your performance psychologist will then support you as you practice and improve how you respond to this unique challenge, giving you unrivalled insight into not only how to answer tough questions but also a personal insight into how and why you might react in such a high stakes environment.
During the training the KC will forensically question the participant on their pitch or presentation. Whether that is the effectiveness of the ESG policy, cost cutting or expansion plans, or working in politically exposed regions. The questioning will be recorded, and participants will be able to watch it back during the course. They will also be able to watch footage of other senior individuals being questioned and we explain and demonstrate what good and bad looks like.
We aim to make the training harder than the real thing so there are no surprises on the day.
All of our courses are delivered by a leading KC and Performance Psychologist. We usually recommend a 4-6 hour course for 1 or 2 participants, but would welcome the chance to discuss your specific requirements.
2. Executive Coaching
Sometimes ‘Moments that Matter’ are specific one-off events, but sometimes they occur over longer periods – for example in transitions at work such as a new role, a promotion or taking on a new team. Such times are incredibly busy and often require the development of a brand new skill set.
Finding the time to reflect, process and learn in such moments is tough. Whilst you may know how you should react and where you should focus your time, doing so is not straightforward. But it can also be challenging to find the right answers in the busy, messy, real world, especially on your own. Executive coaching creates that time and space for you. By asking the right questions, listening and noticing what is important to you, a coaching relationship can help you unlock your best in moments of pressure.
All of our executive coaches are experienced mental skills coaches who can help people perform under pressure.
We usually recommend a 3-6 session package of support, but would welcome the chance to discuss your specific requirements.
3. Leadership Programmes
Our unique leadership programmes are truly designed around your needs. We know what it takes to lead and have a highly experienced team of facilitators who can design a bespoke experience for you around your needs, wants and constraints.
We know there are many providers of leadership training, however there are two unique elements to an AssuretyMind programme:

Our unique leadership programmes are truly designed around your needs. We know what it takes to lead and have a highly experienced team of facilitators who can design a bespoke experience for you around your needs, wants and constraints.
We know there are many providers of leadership training, however there are two unique elements to an AssuretyMind programme:
- Immersion. We believe we learn best by doing, by experiencing. So we don’t sit in a classroom and present models and best practice. We get into the real world and meet and learn from senior leaders. We build a curriculum around your needs and create experiences that directly support those needs, whilst offering an unrivalled learning experience around them
- Challenging questions. We are very conscious of how easy it is to ‘talk the talk’, especially when you are in a learning environment and away from the day to day pressures that usually surround you. But does this translate to action or change when you get back to the day job? By using barristers to ask challenging questions, we both accelerate learning and make it more robust. We ask the difficult questions that help you to appreciate what it really takes to create change, and then support you as you make those changes, one step at a time.
