Designed for those working in HR, or management that are facing, or may face giving evidence on workplace issues. This is a highly interactive and dynamic 2 day (Advanced Course) or 1 day (Foundation Course).
The course ensures managers quickly develop their essential skillset in personal communication, as well as learning about its specific application to an Employment Tribunal or Court.
This comprehensive course uses live theatre and experiential learning techniques to help the delegates understand both the theory and practice of the three key elements of effective personal communication. It then takes them through an entire employment dispute, as they watch the the case escalate from workplace miscommunication, into evidence given at the subsequent hearing.
Using the best barristers at the best chambers with expert communications trainers, it also gives the delegates the tools to identify key legal employment issues in the workplace, understand how to successfully prepare for a tribunal and give them the confidence to give coherent and credible evidence in the witness box.
During the Advanced Course, the opportunity to practise these skills in a safe environment, allows the delegates to put their learning into immediate effect. The Advanced also gives them detailed expert feedback with video of the delegate been cross-examined by a barrister during a mock hearing.
