A motivated and well-organised workforce is the key to a successful business. A good manager must know how to lead, inspire and get the best out of people. But managing people, whether individually, collectively or through employee representatives, can be hard, creating some of the most difficult and stubborn problems that businesses have to deal with. Dealing with these can be time-consuming and energy-sapping, while getting it wrong can be expensive and damaging.
Our courses combine the skills and experience of communication experts with the forensic and legal experience of barristers to explain how to deal with workplace problems and issues effectively. Our barrister trainers have been involved in many of the leading cases on unfair dismissal, discrimination and trade union issues and so our training is underpinned by first-hand knowledge of the law and the way that workforce issues are dealt with by courts and tribunals.
All of our courses explain the relevant legal principles in a straightforward way and use experiential training to enable participants to practise and develop a range of people management skills.
