The workforce is one of, if not the, most important part of any business. A motivated, well-organised and diligent workforce is the key to most successful businesses. A good manager must know how to lead, inspire and get the best out of the workforce. But managing people, whether individually, collectively or through employee representatives, often throws up some of the most difficult and stubborn problems businesses have to deal with. Dealing with those problems can be time-consuming and energy-sapping; getting it wrong can be expensive and damaging for any business.
Our courses are unlike any other. We combine the skills and experience of communication experts with the forensic and legal experience of barristers. Our training is underpinned by first-hand knowledge of the law and the way workforce issues are dealt with by courts and tribunals. Our barrister trainers have been involved in many of the leading cases on unfair dismissal, discrimination and trade union issues.
In all of our courses we explain in laymen’s terms the applicable legal principles, demonstrate how to deal with problems and issues effectively and use experiential training to give participants the opportunity to practise and develop a range of people management skills.
