Why do some people seem so relaxed and confident when speaking to an audience while others find the prospect so nerve-wracking? What actually counts as a ‘good presentation’ and why? It may come as a surprise but presentation skills can be learned and all of the best presenters will tell you that they devote time and energy to improving their technique and perfecting their style, whether for that all-important sales pitch, a boardroom presentation or an appearance before a regulator or public body.
In our Effective Presentation training sessions we teach participants how to deal with nerves, help them develop their own, unique presentation style, and can even assist them perfecting a forthcoming presentation or pitch. Using experienced barristers, we help participants prepare for and deal with difficult questions and learn how to negotiate effectively. Finally we can help if ever things go wrong, dealing with complaints.
We analyse what it means to give a really good presentation using video clips of some great (and not-so-great) public speakers and use only confidence-building and constructive training methods.
