What we do
Transformative witness familiarisation training
Solicitors and barristers agree that preparation and understanding can make an enormous difference to the quality of evidence that a witness is able to give at a hearing. Nerves, anxiety and unfamiliarity with the procedure can really affect someone’s ability to provide evidence clearly and confidently, which can determine the extent to which their testimony is helpful to the decision maker.
They established the business after realising from their time in court that not enough was being done to prepare witnesses effectively for the real experience of being cross-examined.
We provide at least two trainers, a leading barrister with at least 10 years’ experience or a QC, and a communications trainer who specialises in the theory and technique of effective communication.
The calibre of our trainers is second to none. All of our barrister trainers are highly regarded in their field of expertise, from chambers such as Essex Court, Serle Court, Blackstone, Matrix, 11 KBW, Littleton and Cloisters. Our communication trainers are experienced in coaching and training and all have acting, TV or performance backgrounds.
Participants will be able to watch footage of real cross-examinations, and experience for themselves what it is like to be cross examined by a skilled barrister.
